Hey… Its family time now
No one would have imagined that life would come to a standstill in such a way, that even going to our work/business place would be a fearful thing!!! Courtesy : COVID 19…..
The deadly virus.. Having footprints almost all over the globe!
Though a small time businessman,who would otherwise require to commute daily to workplace to earn livelihood, I decided to self confine myself to the inners of a residential complex, apparently to stay away from corona. The first few days I spent during lockdown were like enjoying the quality time with parents, siblings & kids keeping aside all routine woes n worries.
Playing childhood games with family, recalling teenage college mischiefs with partners in crime(usually cousins),hearing our childhood tantrums from our parents and feeling embarrassed in front of our kids, laughing on uncanny things of our kids, revisiting old memories by watching marriage and birthday celebration photo albums and CDs, sitting glued to TV sets with a cup of coffee & in hope of getting some good business news, were only among few of the options to kill the time.
Doing meditation to strengthen the innerself was kept as last resort as i find myself not too health conscious.LoL.
The Next few days for me were like a student who is physically present with the family, but mentally he is dipped in the very dark thought Of resuming the work post lockdown and coping with the difficulties that can only be delayed but will inevitably knock on our doors in near future. But this was the situation prevalent all over the world and i was not the only the one who was touched with these strange monsterings… Every passing day was no less than a hell… That was the time when I remembered a school time idiom
WHEN GOING GETS TOUGH… TOUGH GETS GOING…
it was a ripe time when i thought i should discover my lighter side and groom myself for some other qualities.. And voila.. Here’s the other side of me…
